  • Resumo: EF-S lenses get a bad rap in my opinion. Because they are specifically designed for the APS-C format they can be made smaller and lighter and that makes them a lot cheaper. The does not mean that they are optically inferior, as born out by the 15-85mm.

  • Resumo: The Canon EF-s 15-85mm is an excellent lens for any photographer. In the 1990s my wife and I took a trip to Europe and I took my trusty Canon A1 with the FD 28-85mm f4 lens along with a few filters and some 20 rolls of film.

  • Resumo: A dream as a walk-around lens. The difference between 15mm and 18mm is very noticable and opens a whole new world of possibilities. The only real downside for me is the lack of weather sealing, because this lens will often be used for landscapes or seascapes in rather unwelcoming conditions.
  • Prós: 1) unparalleled focal length 2) extremely effective image stabilisation 3) excellent center sharpness throughout, very good corner sharpness wide open, excellent overall stopped down to f/5.6. 4) decent enough maximum aperture (surely not on the \'fast\' side, but good enough to be used even for ...
  • Cons: 1) Not weather sealed 2) Zoom creep beginning from about 40mm onwards

  • Resumo: Pues eso, llevo un tiempo pillando artículos reacondicionados y aún no he tenido ningún problema. Y lo seguiré haciendo porque aunque me salga rana, lo devuelvo y listo. En este caso, un objetivo de 800 y pico euros por 300 y pico. Menos de la mitad, qué más puedo pedir?

  • Resumo: Długo się zastanawiałem nad zakupem z uwagi na opinie o jakości mechanicznej tego obiektywu, i jestem mile zaskoczony. Pierścień do zmiany ogniskowej chodzi równo i z właściwym oporem, a obiektyw samodzielnie nie zmienia ogniskowej pod wpływem grawitacji. Jako spacer-zoom spisuje się znakomicie.

  • Resumo: Sehr angenehm überrascht durch die Schärfe, die sich deutlich von vergleichbaren Zooms abhebt, die ich bisher hatte. Ebenfalls sehr gut die fast vernachlässigbaren chromatischen Aberrationen. Autofocus und IS arbeiten sehr dezent und dafür umso effektiver.
