Resumo: I keep waiting for this to play the new games so poorly that I can justify building a new computer . A friend gave me a steal of a deal on a R9 380X video card. With this CPU and GPU I can play Battlefield 1 on 1920x1080.
Resumo: This is an older used CPU. It was perfectly clean with no heat transfer goop left on the CPU. Plugged it in and it worked. I had updated my BIOS prior to the arrival of the CPU. Packaging was minimal but protected the CPU satisfactorily.

Prós: This processor has exceeded my expectations in every way. I've been using it for 2.5 years now and it has been a gem. It stays extremely cool even though the only fan I have on the system is the one included by AMD in this package. I am generally running 3+ applications on my system with a tri-mo...
Prós: Wow i bought this as a temporary CPU for my girlfriends rig of 600gb hd, asus gtx 550ti, 8gb gskill ram, 700wpsu, This thing preforms suprisingly well, we've played games together skyrim, Guild wars 2, EQ2 and man this thing performs great it keeps up with my Phenom ii X4 965 BE stock within 10-2...
Cons: None, i do notice a stutter sometimes compared to my Phenom ii x4 965 BE but i can't beat the performance for the price.
Prós: Using Windows 7 Home 64 bit with 4 GB DDR3 and a Radeon HD 5670 all on a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Micro ATX board, this thing flies pretty good. Converts a 2 hour standard definition (720x480) movie in only 20 minutes using Freemake, and renders a 1.5 hour 720x480 movie in Cyberlink Power Director 9...
Cons: I bought mine used, and it's hard to find these new anymore, but either way they cost a little more than they should should since Phenom II X4's are only like $20 more for a brand new one which will have quite a bit higher clock speeds and a superior set of features (such as the L3 cache and bett...
Resumo: I hope AMD comes up with some new processor that would work as well as the Athlon did. We AMD fans still hold out hope.
Prós: I originally bought this to replace an Athlon 4600 dual core while waiting for Bulldozer to come out. Still using a 5 year old ASUS M2N-E motherboard who kept putting out bios updates which allowed me to install this chip. Well, we know how Bulldozer went (not worth the effort), so I am still usi...
