Resumo: After a great deal of research we chose the PowerShot G5 X to document our (maybe) once in a lifetime two week trip to Europe. That trip is long past now, and we are still ecstatic about our choice! And we are still happy to own this camera, using it almost daily to document our life.
Resumo: I bought this before Christmas hoping to replace my big DSLR with it. The camera was fantastic, however, it does not quite have all the features of my DSLR. It's a really great camera for those wanting a high quality image without playing around too much with settings.
Resumo: Returned due to grainy and noisy low light images, even with some light i was getting grainy images, i was very disappointed despite good reviews, had to return it after a week of use
Resumo: I purchased this to replace the Canon Powershot A95 that worked great until it didn't. I loved the moveable screen and purchased the G5X because it has a moveable screen.
After spending too much time 'setting' up the G5X, I was never able to use the WiFi feature.
Resumo: I got the G11 when the G9 stopped working. I got the G5 when the G9 stopped working. I was very happy with the G9 and G11. The G5 is not as good. It seem flimsier, especially the battery compartment. The battery runs down quickly, which rarely happened with the G9 and G11.
Resumo: Was looking for a small camera that took great pictures. The camera is very good, but it seems to me that the RAW-files can not be opened directly in Lightroom 5 or Photoshop Elements.
