  • Resumo: So you’re looking to build a new computer or are upgrading your current system. The last thing on your list is probably the case. It really shouldn’t be. If it is, you’re usually left with a flimsy, cramp and ugly heap of metal which is supposedly a PC enclosure. You’re kidding right?

  • Conclusão: After using the Whisper for a few weeks I have to say the name fits. This is one of the quietest PC cases that I have encountered. Other than the sound of an occasional DVD being accessed I could barely tell when it was on.

  • Resumo: A PC case is just a place where your system is right? Just a housing for the components right? The average person out there is more than happy with a stock case from one of the big manufacturers, most aren’t that well made and they’re usually very loud.

  • Resumo: The case didn't perform as well as my M998 in terms of cooling, but keep in mind that the M998 case has Noctua fans installed rather than the regular stock fans. They not only push more airflow but also are much more silent.
  • Prós: 7 hard drive bays, Pop-up I/O panel, Silence padding, Minimalistic View, Toolless design
  • Cons: Louder than it claims, No window, Not very good for Cooling.

  • Conclusão: Despite the retail box having been battered during shipping, the presentation NZXT puts forth is excellent. You won't see flashy gaming artwork but instead a subdued and elegant styling to it that is in line with it's "Whisper" name. Care is also taken in the packaging of the case.
  • Prós: Very quiet operation, Insulating foam on side panels, Attractive design, Plenty of hard drive bays, Accommodates E-ATX motherboards and long video cards, Front e-SATA port, Tool-less retainer
  • Cons: Cooling performance, Only full length devices can be installed in external bays (ie, no fan controllers, etc), Shallow door clearance, Limited cable management options, No firewire port, IO Panel locking mechanism

  • Resumo: Med Whisper har Nzxt skapat en väldigt intressant produkt. Som namnet antyder har tyngden lagts på ljudnivån. Detta är något som ofta innebär att kylningen på något sätt blir lidande och så är tyvärr också fallet med detta chassi.
  • Prós: God kvalitet, Gedigen konstruktion, Bra ljudnivå, Gott om plats för hårddiskar
  • Cons: Dålig kylningsprestanda i övre delen av chassit, Svårt att dra tjockare kablage bakom moderkortsplåten, Väldigt onödigt fläktgaller stansat ur stålplåten
