Resumo: Today for review I have a case or chassis from Cooler Master called the HAF XB. This is a smaller style case, what might be called a lanbox but it’s not just for gaming of course as you can use it for anything. What makes the HAF XB really special is the fact that it also doubles as a test bench.
Prós: Very well made, Portable, Case or test bench, Plenty of room for assorted cooling options, Room for large video cards and large CPU coolers, Quickly and easily converts to test bench, Lots of room for multiple SSDs
Cons: Fans suck in dust, Depending on PSU design it can be difficult to install, Not exactly quiet, No fan grills on fans, Only space for two 3.5″ drives
Conclusão: Before continuing with our final weigh-in on the HAF XB, we would like to take this opportunity to give our friends at Cooler Master a hearty “Thank You” for giving us the opportunity and pleasure of reviewing the HAF XB mid tower case.
Conclusão: I really enjoyed working with the HAF XB, and I have no doubt that Cooler Master has got a really unique product here, of course you only have to take one look at it to realise that.
Resumo: El ultimo exponente de la gama HAF de Coolermaster es un hibrido entre mesa de pruebas y caja cubo orientada a jugadores que busquen algo potente pero más “manejable”. 03/01/2013 Componentes
Resumo: Is the HAF XB something I would personally buy? No it is not. I’m more of a fan of traditional shaped cases, but if you were looking for a hybrid of a case and a test bench the HAF XB does a good job of doing both but does not particularly excel at either.
Conclusão: In conclusion the HAF XB brings back the BluePanda "Gold" award. I choose to give few gold awards here on OCC and reserve them for the products that really deserve them by going above and beyond expectations in a product. To be honest the HAF XB is cheap as hell for a chassis of its quality.
Prós: Solid build in a small stature, Great cooling and easy cable routing, It's kinda CUTE, but makes for a hell of LAN rig, Cost for the quality can't be beat
Cons: Strange shape, Front fans are LOUD without a fan controller
Resumo: In a world dominated by rectangular mid-towers, the HAF XB's squarish design is refreshing, and the fact that Cooler Master pulled it off without any major drawbacks makes this a very attractive option for gamers on the go or enthusiasts with a taste for the unusual.
Prós: Excellent design means you get good looks and easy hardware installs. Cube-like figure, orientation make for an awesome test bed. Good value.
Cons: Still big and bulky. Only two 3.5" bays. Heat management not its strongest suit.
