Everything I expected.

  • Resumo: With all the recent negative reviews, I thought I would say that I was happy with the case. It's quiet, doesn't look terrible, and was easy to install everything. I built a 6th Gen Core i7 integrated graphics system (prioritizing low noise) and it's been quiet and awesome.
  • Prós: - As quiet as expected - Just enough cable management (not over the top, not underwhelming) - Doesn't look like Transformer (and looks better than the photos)
  • Cons: - Seems like my front-panel audio ports don't work as expected. I get garbled audio, and I don't think it's a motherboard problem. - The front panel clips seem a bit thin.

Front panel USB 3.0 not working

  • Resumo: I would like a replacement of this front USB 3.0 cable to the front ports if possible. It would not be practical for me to send the whole case back since I had just built this computer. Hopefully just the front port connection cable will be replaced.

  • Resumo: This is my 4th Antec case. This one has lining inside. I have another Antec case with lining. That one also has resonating noise problems. So I suggest people avoid the Antec cases with linings.
  • Prós: simple and neat.
  • Cons: noisy. I wanted quiet computers. First build one with Sonata Proto. But the front drive covers do not fit well. They could barely stay on. So I bought this SOLO II for the 2nd build.   • Resumo: Other than the USB 3.0 front panel ports not working, this is a really nice case. I called Antec customer service and was left on hold for 3 hours and I finally gave up and hung up. Then I filled out a trouble ticket on the Antec customer support webpage but haven't heard back from Antec.

They keep making themselves look bad

  • Resumo: This would have been a 4 star product until I dealt with their support. While I haven't had to fight with them I have had to keep after them to make sure this eventually gets resolved. I would not expect this build quality from a case that will run you nearly $130 once it's all said and done.

  • Cons: The product quality seems like it's on par for a $60 case. The drive bay inserts that you see on the side of the case (4 little oval plastic pieces) are very flimsy. Clean design, Poor QA and support.

  • Resumo: I had a few minor issues such as the sound dampening on both case panels being curled up. I also had some broken drive bay inserts. I contacted support and 4 weeks later I had 2 new side panels. There wasn't much padding in the package so both side panels were damaged.
