Conclusão: As I've said in many previous reviews, silence is very close to my heart, so it's always interesting to see and hear the new "quiet" cases. Antec also has a long history on this area with their Performance One- and Sonata-series of cases, and the Solo II sure keeps up their reputation.
Prós: Easy access to HDDs, Really quiet fan, Room for all sizes of graphic cards
Resumo: I’ve been reviewing quite a few Antec products recently and they’ve all turned up pretty well so far. The last of my Antec product reviews is the Solo II case, the prequel of which has ended up as one of the most oft reviewed ones on the site.
Resumo: Antec is known for making a variety of quality cases to suit different needs, with its Sonata family aiming to deliver clean styling, functionality and silence all in one. The SOLO II becomes the latest entry to that family, and in some ways, it’s very different than other silent cases on the...
Conclusão: There are plenty of reasons to like Antec's SOLO II chassis. It's compact for a mid-tower enclosure, it's well built, it's visually attractive, and it's suitably quiet in use. But the £90 entry fee is undeniably steep, and at this price, you can't help but notice some of the chassis' shortcomings.
Resumo: Although the Solo II is a very simple looking case, the chassis design is sophisticated and the materials used of very high quality. It may look like any other tower case, even somewhat frail considering that the top half of the motherboard’s tray is cut out and that the PSU support bar can be...
Test Antec Solo II : le nouveau boîtier silencieux d'Antec
Clubic
6 Outubro 2011
Resumo: The Antec Solo 2 Case is a elegant looking case with lots of great features. It's all black, lots of drive bays, fans, tool-less design, hole on motherboard tray, cable management holes and more. It also has acoustic dampending material, which is excellent for quiet computer builds.
Resumo: The original Antec Solo was a landmark in quiet computing, and remains a very nice case, even today, six years after its launch. The Solo II brings many expected upgrades like a motherboard tray cutout, USB 3.0 (with a proper internal 20-pin header) and just enough design tweaks to retain the heart...
Prós: Very quiet, Excellent thermal performance, Excellent stock fan, Hard drive suspension system, Proper internal USB 3.0 cable, Supports long graphics cards
Cons: Only one fan included, Only two sets of hard drive suspenders, Questionable power/reset buttons, Glossy finish attracts fingerprints, Could use better cable management, Expensive
Resumo: Con il Solo II Antec ha creato un prodotto dal design sobrio ed elegante, con una verniciatura nera a specchio nella parte esterna ed opaca nella parte interna, orientato ad un tipo di utenza che predilege soluzioni Quiet Computing.
